Why Accreditation?

  • Achieving Joint Commission accreditation demonstrates a commitment to continuous improvement in patient care. Joint Commission accreditation tells your patients you’re committed to providing safe, high quality care – time after time. While there are certainly other accrediting bodies, choosing The Joint Commission means you can lean on our 65 years of experience — from our humble beginnings to the worldwide symbol of quality improvement we’ve grown to be.

Why Certification?

Joint Commission certification programs are designed to evaluate clinical programs across the continuum of care. Joint Commission accredited health care organizations may seek certification for care and services provided for virtually any chronic disease or condition. In addition, non-accredited organizations that provide disease-specific services can be eligible for certification if Joint Commission accreditation is not available for that specific clinical setting.
